John Lapp, OD

Dr. Lapp attended Millikin University and graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 1976. He returned to Carlinville and joined Henry Zilm, OD, in 1977. Dr. Lapp is a member of the Illinois and American Optometric Associations. Locally he is the vice-president of the Carlinville Public School Board, a trustee at Blackburn College and a scout leader of BSA Troop 62.

He and his wife, Paula, recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. Their oldest daughter, Susan, attends SIUC. Jennifer and Kevin are students at CUSD #1. When not at work, Dr. Lapp can often be found at a local sports event with a camera in his hands.
